Hi!! We are Wear Naré, a small independent clothing brand based in San Diego, founded by Naré Vardanyan.

As a thrift girl myself, I've grown to truly appreciate the intention and effort put into fashion from the 1970s–2000s. I want to honor that era without the fast-fashion compromises. If you miss the style of that time but want it done thoughtfully, welcome!!

The brands we grew up with have shifted their focus, prioritizing the bottom line over the craftsmanship and communities that made them iconic. In the process, they've traded:

• Intentional fabric blends for cheap synthetics that wear out quickly and ignore environmental impact.
• Small-batch production for mass production that often exploits skilled garment makers.
• Complex, thoughtful designs for simplified versions optimized only for scalability and profit margins.
• Genuine 2000s silhouettes for "marketable" shapes that lose the spark of the original era.
